In this role you will be part of the team managing the delivery of medical services with in the ICU plus critical patients in the ED and Wards.  Reporting to the Speciaists in  ICU, you will be part of a service that encompasses two tertiary and five secondary hospitals, where you have access to state of the art equipment and highly trained colleagues and where your professional development will be well supported.



The service us located in urban Perth, Western Australia.  Renowned for it's Mediterranean climate, gorgeous white sandy beaches and proximity to the rest of the world, Perth is truly one of the fabulous places to live in Australia.  Perth's  population of around 1.2 million is steadily increasing, due to economic growth of the state and it's ease of access to Asia and beyond.



 The health service includes a 280 bed general hospital  in the process of expanding to 424 beds.  It provides a full range of general hospital services, including 46,000 ED presentations/year, 1800 deliveries a year as well as an active emergency and elective surgical programme. The health service possesses a well equipped modern facility with a well developed undergraduate program for Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Staff.



At least six months experience in ICU is a minimum requirement for consideration for this Australian medical job, plus of course you must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of WA.
